Bri Goes to the Dentist

Brianna had her first dental cleaning today. She was so good and her teeth looked great! She had a fun time learning all about the fun dental tools like "Mr. Thirsty" a "Squirt Gun" and a "Flashlight" above her. She even got to ride the chair up and down.

Auntie Again!

Looks like I'm going to be an Aunt again. Maddie announced the news on the phone with "mama baby". That was about it for the conversation from her side, but we got the message. We can't wait to have another little guy or gal to add to the family. Ya know, the name Jamie would work for either....maybe I should suggest that.

Cousins

At Ben's first birthday party the boys were not shy about delving into the chocolate cake. After covering themselves with frosting we decided it was time to hose them off. Since Jackie's bathroom is under construction we decided that the sink would work perfectly.

I can't believe how similar they look sometimes. They both have the same color hair and the same skin. It is so much fun to watch our boys grow up together and to watch Bri herding them like little ducklings.

Nate and Addie

Last weekend we went to visit our friends Joel and Amanda and their daughter Addie. Addie and Nate are only a few months apart and it was fun to watch them interact. At one point they perched themselves in front of the fireplace, giving us the perfect opportunity to snap up some of their cuteness.

Brianna Gets a Camera

Grandma Sandy and Grandpa Don gave Bri a Hello Kitty digital camera for her birthday and we have all been blessed with non-stop photo-taking ever since (thanks mom and dad!)

So, here are a few of her best shots:

Nate now has the job of full-time model. Poor boy is always being told "look here" "Say Cheese" "No Nathan, look here now". Of course, when she's close enough to make him wash out with the flash you have to give him credit for being a good sport.

Of course, not to be forgotten are her stuffed animals. Here you see "Tuffy" the dog. No, tuffy was not moving as the picture was being taken, but his photographer was.

This is actually one of my favorite shots. Great -Grandpa and Grandma Hyma were over to the Koetje's for Bri's birthday party and Great-Grandpa was a good sport about multiple close-ups.

And, of course, cousin Madeline has been directed for her photos as well. Of course, Maddie isn't quite so compliant as Nate. Maybe it's because she knows that Bri won't be following her home! :)

A Mommy Cowgirl

"Mommy, I want to be a mommy cowgirl when I get big".

"Really Bri?" Why's that?

"Because I want to be a cowgirl and say ride'em cowgirl, but I also want to be a mommy like you"

"Breezy-Bru, you can be anything you want to be" (But don't expect this mommy to clean stables)

Too Long...

I've been a bit remiss about posting here. I promise many pictures soon to come. Including dual naked baby boys (Nate and Ben) in the sink, Christmas, and so much more cuteness. You had better block some time off your calendars for blog reading.

Of course, none of it is to come until later this weekend since I will be work, work, working my life away on tax returns and financials.
